Project Objectives
- To provide another forum for sharing forage information with people inside and outside the Peace River region
- To compile a list of all contact names, places or websites where various reports, newsletters, variety trial results, demo plot results, proceedings and other forms of forage info can be accessed.
- To develop a website and use its 3 dimensional qualities to convert the "mural" of the Peace Forage R&D Vision into a format that people can more readily interact with.
- Presented prototype of website at Cattlemen's AGM Trade show in Dawson Creek, June 2002.
- Launched website on the web June 2002
- 2002 - added Feed Listing page to help local producers buy and sell feed
- Updated website with R & D Committee at winter 2003 workshop
- 2003 - worked with BCMAFF to expand the Feed Listings pages to accommodate entire province
- 2009 - redeveloped website with a new look and easier navigation to find information and resources
- Add new Projects as they come on stream
- Add new Forage Facts as they are developed
- Keep Feed Listings up to date
