Manure Spreading & Compost Demonstration Project
Project Objectives
- To work with teams, partners and cooperators to identify key demonstration projects
- To demonstrate effective ways to help farmers manage their manure and compost ( BMPs)
- To provide tools and information to farmers to encourage adoptions of manure ad compost BMP's
- Set up demos with 7 key cooperators with manure, compsot and compost tea
- Set up cooperative agreements wth 2 soil labs and sampled starting baselines for all demos.
- Partnered with Peace Region Forage Seed Association to hire Vicki Moser for summer of 2008 and to hire Megan Harwood and Courtney Thompson for summer of 2009.
